Ex-Merck analyst to plead guilty in insider-trading case

Zachary Zwerko, an ex-analyst for Merck & Co., will plead guilty in a case charging him with passing inside merger tips to a former business school classmate who was working at Bank of New York Mellon Corp., his lawyer told U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein in New York.
