Facebook introduces Messenger Kids app in the US

(Telecompaper) Facebook is launching a preview of its new Messenger Kids app in the US. This preview is available on the App Store for iPad, iPod touch, and iPhone. The standalone app is aimed at the tablets and smartphones of kids but parents can control the accounts and contacts through the Messenger Kids Controls panel in their main Facebook app. Children will not be able to message unapproved contacts.
