Farmers seek scientific price for sugar cane

The indefinite roadblock protest by sugar cane farmers, demanding that the State government should announce a State Advisory Price of Rs 3,500 per tonne of sugarcane and implement the Karnataka Sugar cane (Regulation of Purchase and Supply) Act in toto entered the second day on Wednesday.
