Former Google CEO Schmidt to leave Alphabet board

(Telecompaper) The former Google CEO and chairman Eric Schmidt is stepping down from the company's board after the upcoming AGM.  He will continue as a technical advisor to Alphabet, Google's parent company, it announced.
