Former manager pleads guilty

A former manager of the Castalia Farms corporate retreat once owned by Owens-Illinois Inc. pleaded guilty Friday to wire fraud in a scheme prosecutors said resulted in the theft of millions of dollars in property and services. Michael Conrad, 48, of Castalia accepted a plea agreement in U.S. District Court that would result in a five-year prison sentence.
