Europes Meteorological Satellite Agency EUMETSAT has just released an exciting new vacancy for a Quality Engineer to provide Quality Assurance QA and Product Assurance PA support to the development of the ground segment for the new Meteosat Third Generation MTG system. This is a challenging and rewarding role offering candidates the opportunity to develop their skills in an international and multicultural environment, whist contributing to one of EUMETSATs core programmes the MTG programme aims to guarantee access to spaceacquired meteorological data until at least the late 2030s. Along with a university degree, or equivalent, in a relevant subject the key candidate shall have skillsexperience in each of the following areas Proven experience in QAPA activities for the design, procurement, IV V of complex softwareintensive systemsproducts, preferably in the aerospace field and developed in an international context, with good knowledge and practice of the following standards ISO 9000 series ESCCEN standard series Experience in any of the following would be considered advantageous Direct experience in space programmes Direct experience in the development and integrationvalidation of Ground Segments for satellite programmes. Certified quality auditor All candidates must be EUMETSAT member state nationals with a good working knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.
