George Hill dies at 87: Doctor brought his talents to WSU, Detroit automakers and others

Dr. George C. Hill, who taught at Wayne State University medical school, worked as a plant medical director at General Motors, Ford and Chrysler and who -- at age 66 -- was deployed to Desert Storm as assistant director of a surgical trauma unit, died Tuesday.
