MaxLinear Inc., a leading provider of radio frequency (RF) and mixed-signal integrated circuits for cable and satellite broadband communications, the connected home, data center, metro, long-haul fiber networks, and wireless infrastructure, recently announced that Global Invacom Group Limited (“Global Invacom”) has commenced shipments of its new FibreIRS digital channel stacking gateway termination unit (dSCR GTU), which uses MaxLinear technology, to a major European satellite operator.
