We are currently looking for a Ground Segment Integration Verification Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Ground Segment Integration Verification Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities You will contribute to the development of the Overall Ground Segment OGS of the Sentinel6JasonCS program and be involved in tasks related to the planning, preparation and execution of OGS IV activities. Your responsibilities will include OGS IV preparation during Phases B2C, and the implementation in Phase D Update and maintain the IV schedule in coordination with Project Control Coordination of the IV approach ensuring coherence and completeness of the approach at OGS and System levels Assess the IVV approach of all contributing elements of the OGS and ensure compatibility with the overall OGS IV Plan Establish and maintain the verification control mechanisms Ensure that accurate metrics on IV progress are maintained Ensure the implementation of the OGS IV plan through lower level test documentation, processes, test execution and relevant OGS reviews Attend sub segment IV tests as observer, witnessing tests Identify the acquisition of all necessary Test Tools and Test Data Advise on validation activities managed by the Sentinel6JasonCS System Team. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in engineering e.g. space or software engineering, or equivalent Several years of experience in the field of engineering of space andor ground systems, preferably in the area of Earth observation from space Preparation andor execution of IV activities at Ground Segment System level Preparation of test plans, test specifications andor test procedures, prepared for IV of such Systems Experience of multilevel verification processes and implementation Familiarity with procurement and use of Test Tools and Test Data Good computer skills with strong experience withability to use MS Office software. DOORS and ECSS space system engineering standards would be an advantage Fluency in English is mandatory of another European language is an advantage. This job is located in Darmstadt.
