Used downstream of in-line metal detector, HandyTec® Model HH-10 locates ferrous contamination in shallow layers of nonferrous product once detection has occurred and product flow has stopped. This 1.6 lb and 9.3 x 4.33 x 3.35 in. instrument, which has rugged polyamide housing and flexible 10 ft power cord, produces audio and visual alarms whenever metal is present. At respective distances of 0.3 and 1.1 in., device detects .039 and 0.78 in. ferrous and nonferrous material.
