Designed to meet Class I and Class II Div 2 specifications, MagnaShear™ Hazardous Duty Brakes offer spring set torque ratings from 3–900 lb-ft, and can be sized to correct torque independent of motor frame size or horsepower. Units include quick mount features for mounting to drive motors in NEMA frame sizes 56–405. Featuring modular design, brakes are totally enclosed from outside contaminants. Oil shear technology transmits torque between lubricated surfaces, eliminating wear.
