House Disappoints ASHRAE with language passed in H.R. 8.

While expressing disappointment with passage of North American Energy Security and Infrastructure Act of 2015 (H.R. 8) by U.S. House of Representatives, ASHRAE President David Underwood applauded Representative Peter Welch (D-VT-At Large) for seeking to amend H.R. 8's harmful building energy codes language with language from bipartisan H.R. 2177. He referred specifically to language that threatens to reduce understanding of potential full impacts of model building energy codes.
