IT Junior Support Technician ESTEC IT support for Apple or Windows devices in an enterprise environment Company information For longterm, onsite positions with several institutional customers, we are looking for junior IT Support Technicians, to provide IT support for Apple or Windows devices in an enterprise environment. Job description In this role, your responsibilities will be mainly 1st and 2nd level call resolution on location andor remotely in the following areas 1 Windows OS based client devices Windows 7, Windows 10 2 Mac OS based client devices 3 Mobile phones and smartphones 4 IBM Notes 5 Network and local printing facilities 6 Specific Corporate Applications 7 1st line networking LAN, WiFi 8 Approved client applications i.e. SAP, Adobe, MS Office, Encryption tools, etc. Tasks Responsibilities Providing 1st and 2nd line support in the areas described above Evaluating, categorizing and logging users requests and problems and proactively follow up these requests to ensure timely resolution of the Delivery and deployment of new workstations PCs laptops and maintenance and replacement of existing workstations, as well as other systems like mobile devices and printers Maintain, update and integrate Knowledge Base DB, procedures and working instructions Assisting and advising the user community in the technical and functional use of the Clients Corporate services and applications. Job requirements 02 years of professional experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues on either Apple or Windows systems and on mobile platforms Willingness to learn Enthusiastic and motivated team member Knowledge of IBM notes client platform is an asset Proactive and customerfocused mindset Work experience in an international environment is considered an advantage Willingness to occasionally work outside regular office hours.
