Guardian: On Borneo island members of the indigenous community live on the banks of Kapuas river in Sei Ahass village, where the haze was particularly bad. The forest and peat fires fanned by a prolonged dry season and the impact of El Nio have had devastating health impacts for Indonesia and its south-east Asian neighbours as well as the global climate.
