Providing 36 x 60 x 36 in. workspace dimensions, No. 1039 is equipped with 73 KW ICA wire coils supported by vacuum formed ceramic fiber installed on all interior surfaces. System has roof-mounted, heat-resisting alloy circulating fan powered by 1 hp motor with V-belt drive, water-cooled bearings, and inert atmosphere shaft seal. Suitable for heat treating applications, furnace is constructed with 9 in. thick walls comprised of 5 in. of 2,300°F ceramic fiber and 4 in. of 1,900°F block insulation.
