Irvine mayor pushes for tech hub, municipal library in annual address

In his third annual State of the City speech, Irvine Mayor Steven Choi on Tuesday evening highlighted the city's latest achievements and upcoming plans. The mayor reiterated his interest in the city becoming a well-known tech hub, which he has dubbed "InnoVine"; he listed seven companies selected as the first class to work at the Vine, the Irvine Co.'
