LCRA seeks approval to cut irrigation water for fourth straight year

The Lower Colorado River Authority Board of Directors voted 11 to 2 this week to ask permission from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to curtail releases from the lakes once again in 2015. While it comes as no surprise, farmers and community leaders in the Lower Colorado River Basin are struggling with the news that they face yet another year without Blogger Profile irrigation water from the Colorado River.
