We are currently looking for two LEO Satellites Flight Dynamics Engineers to support our customer in Germany. LEO Satellites Flight Dynamics Engineer 2 positions Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Flight Dynamics Operations Team, you will have the following responsibilities Execute of the routine operations of the EPS Flight Dynamics Facility Planning and execution of EPS spacecraft manoeuvres, as well as of their evaluation, thruster calibration and maintenance of the fuel budgets estimates Support to the contingency operation of EPS spacecraft Operational quality control of manoeuvres and AOCS telecommands before uplink and execution onboard of the EPS spacecraft Preparation and maintenance of Flight Dynamics operational procedures Performance analysis of the EPS Flight Dynamics System Perform mission and system level analyses Support to the Flight Dynamics ground segment development and operational preparation activities prior to launch of a new LEO satellite Support Flight Dynamics activities during launch and commissioning for the new LEO satellite Execute Flight Dynamics routine operations after the launch of a new satellite. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline Several years experience in Flight Dynamics of a LEO satellite Knowledge of the analytical principles for orbit determination and control Experience with the routine operations of operational flight dynamics systems for LEO satellites Experience with of operational flight dynamics systems for LEO Satellites Familiarity with AOCS of LEO satellites Experience with conjunction analysis systems, configuration control practices for operational software Working knowledge of software development and validation would be an asset Experience with one or more of the following Fortran, C, TCL, Java Familiarity with statistical and graphical analysis tools Flight dynamics systems for GEO satellites or with POD systems Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
