Placed over any workpiece, X-axis Model XAM-1 can measure from point A to point B or any intermediate point along straight line within field of view. Measurements are taken by microscope moving on dovetail slide, and movement is read on precision digital micrometer in divisions of 0.00005 in. or 0.001 mm. Standard magnification is 40X using 10X eyepiece and 4X objective lens. Offering 40X field of view at 0.402 in., microscope features 0.910 in. working distance and resolution of 161 lines/mm.
