For immediate commencement of employment for our site in Antwerp, we are looking for a MICROWAVE PHOTONICS ENGINEER Job description Heshe becomes part of a team of photonic design engineers Heshe works in close cooperation with other engineering teams Heshe analyzes the microwave photonic system requirements and breaks down to subsystem requirements Heshe designs and validates photonic components, subsystems and circuits Heshe defines test plans and analyzes data Job Experience Ph.D. or M.S. in Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field In depth knowledge of microwave integrated optics Familiar with analog and digital electronic design for photonic devices Design and test of photonic components in silicon photonics or IIIV materials Track record of successful project management of high speed photonics components development Hands on experience with photonics modelling tools COMSOl, VPI, FIMMWAVE General knowledge of InP photonics devices and process flow Hands on experience with layout tools e.g. Luceda Ipkiss, Tanner LEdit Space experience is an asset Job competences Strong team player Excellent written and oral communication skills English Creative in problemsolving Eager to learn Responsible and proactive Willingness to travel
