Running off DiskStation Manager OS, RackStation RS3614xs is built with mixture of passive and active cooling. Redundant power variant, Model RS3614RPxs, features dual hot-swappable power supplies to withstand failure of power-circuit or power supply. Throughput can be enhanced with 2 PCIe Gen3 x8 expansion slots. Additional 24 bays can be added with two RX1214(RP) expansion chassis.
