Navistar Defense Wins $369 Million US Army Contract

Navistar Defense, a unit of truck maker Navistar International Corp., said it won a $369-million contract from the U.S. Army Contracting Command to build 2,293 medium tactical vehicles for the Afghanistan National Security Force. Under the contract, Navistar Defense will provide general troop transport vehicles, water and fuel tankers, ammunition trucks, and wreckers as well as a number of trucks with armored cabs.
