Physics-Based Solver brings extrusion simulation to shop floor.

2014-12-03 14:31:47| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today

Enhancing workflow, HyperXtrude 2015 lets engineers on shop floor validate die designs using CAE techniques directly from CAD models. Material flow and heat transfer inside die can be analyzed during extrusion, and solution automates routine steps of model building. Analysis setup happens directly on CAD model while mesh and complex details stay hidden in background, enabling pre-processing to be completed in as little as 15 min. Sketching and flow-volume creation capabilities are included.
