Poultry business Crown Chicken snapped up by pork giant Cranswick in A 40m deal

Pork producer Cranswick has bolstered its position in the poultry business with the acquisition of south Norfolk-based Crown Chicken. EDP Top100 firm CCL Holdings and its subsidiary Crown Chicken, which employs 400 people, was snapped up for A 40m from its previous owners the Thacker family.
