Republic Airways abruptly goes quiet as last, best final contract showdown goes on

Last week little was done to keep Republic Airways' showdown with International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 357 out of the public eye. Republic let the media know the airline was about to present its last, best and final offer to Local 357, which represents 2,200 Republic pilots who fly regional flights for legacy carriers United Airlines, American Airlines and Delta Air Lines out of Chicago.
