Combining Machine Safety logic and Safe Motion into one package, Kollmorgen Safety Modules™ operate with Kollmorgen’s motors and transmissions, servo and inverter drives, and machine/motion controllers. Units are capable of 15 Safe Motion functions, such as Safe Torque Off, Safe Stops, Safe Limited Speed, Safe Limited Position, and Safe Brake Control. Each module can monitor feedback devices such as resolvers and both single- and multi-turn versions of EnDat™, BiSS, and HIPERFACE® devices.
