Sappi Announces Price Hike for Coated Fine and Mechanical Paper in Europe

May 11, 2015 - Sappi on May 8 announced that it will increase prices for its coated fine paper and coated mechanical paper in Europe by 8%. In a press release Sappi said, "Continuously rising input costs and consequently declining profit margins make corrective pricing measures inevitable as Sappi Europe's business is unsustainable at current price levels.
