Section of Herring Cove Road closed after collision involving utility pole

Halifax Regional Police say a section of Herring Cove Road is closed following a collision between a truck and a utility pole. Nova Scotia Power says electrical wires on the pole, which belongs to Bell Aliant, were severed and crews are working to splice them back together.
