Sigma is trading at a small discount to the cash offer and as Merck still expects to close the deal by the end of this month, an opportunity arises. As I would expect the markets to remain quite volatile for the next little while, I have been trying to prepare some sort of shortlist of companies I'd like to pick up during the next fire sale.
