Software Development Engineer Prototyping Mission Planning andor Central Service Elements Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the area of satellites. You will be involved in prototyping of MPS andor CSE interfaces and critical components for feasibility analysis and architecture and specification refinement of MPS andor CSE subsystem with the following responsibilities Support implementation of prototype of REST interface simulator REST, Java 7 EE, Groovy Refinement of MPS andor CSE specification DOORS Support in defining MPS andor CSE architecture Enterprise architect Support in setting up SW engineering tool chain GIT, Stash, Jira, Jenkins, Gradle, Chef, Puppet Creation of detail design documentation JavaDoc and user documentation Support integration testing Support virtualization setup Support in SW process automation testing, deployment. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent in Software Engineering Extensive experience with ground segment architecture Expert knowledge in Java 8, Java EE 7 Expert and Application Server Technology Experience with RESTful architectures and WebTechnologies HTML Knowledge in SW Engineering Tools NetBeans, GIT, Stash, Jira, Jenkins, Gradle Knowledge of agile processes and tools e.g. JIRA Security Clearance advantageous Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another German is an advantage.
