Southwire employees will man a drop-off station in Heflin for the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign on Thursday and Friday at the old Buster Miles lot at 665 Ross St. The company has a history with the Toys for Tots organization, said Kristi Smith, human resources manager of Southwire in Heflin. Southwire employees have been collecting in Heflin for about five years and in Carrollton for a few years longer.
