We are currently looking for a Space Mechanism Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Space Mechanism Engineer Key Tasks and responsibilities Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites. You will be working onsite as Space Mechanism Engineer withthe following responsibilities Procurement of mechanism projects ESA, NASA, DLR and commercial clients Compilation of mechanism offers technical and programmatic Development of mechanismsmechanism components for space applications Derivation of mechanism requirements from system specifications Conceptual design and feasibility studies freehand sketches Functional and safety analysis Test setups and compilation of test specifications Conducting and supervising functional and environmental tests Reporting of test results and preparation of technical documentation Presentation of development results. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or an equivalent discipline Experience working on space projects and in cooperating with ESANASADLR Profound knowledge in the areas of Electrical drives and sensor technology Measurement and test engineering autocollimators, force sensors, range sensors MS Office Willingness to travel Ability to work independently and proactively Experience in leading a team Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German is an advantage.
