Speedway police apprehend suspect after chase

Speedway police took a man into custody Saturday morning after he led them on a 15 mile chase that ended in a crash at Kentucky Avenue and Harding Street. Police saw the suspect in a reported stolen SUV in the 2800 block of High School Road and attempted to stop the vehicle when the man fled.
