This Spirit promotion takes a cue from a viral photo of first lady Michelle Obama's disapproving look as President Barack Obama smiles for a cellphone photo with Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt and British Prime Minister David Cameron at Nelson Mandela's memorial service. The ultra-low-cost carrier quickly thwarted a "bare fare promotion" last week that played off the illegal phone hacking of dozens of female celebrities that resulted in their private photos being splashed across the Internet.
