The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company said Saturday that it had removed a children's cough medication from its shelves, over concerns about improper dosage labeling that could result in an overdose. In a press release, the company identified the medication as Care One Children's Mucus Relief Cough - Cherry Flavor, 4 oz., UPC 34152031837 with an expiration date of March 17. Stop & Shop said it acted after the Perrigo Company ordered a recall of the product.
