For Astrium in Friedrichshafen within the area Data Processing, OnBoard Software Dependability for the department ACE72 Data Processing OnBoardSoftware FHN we are looking for a System Engineer OnboardSoftware Technical Lead fm. Detailed technical planning of software production and validation activities Instruction, training and control of each team member to perform the assigned production and validation activities Tracking of completion status and initiation of corrective action to stay within cost, schedule and quality perimeters Technical contribution to software production and validation in critical areas Building of software version images for delivery to validation, AIT and customer teams Ensure identification of deviations of test results from agreed requirement baselines and raise of software modification requests to the software development team Elaboration of software production and validation documents according to agreed project standards Presenting and defending the production and validation activities results in milestone reviews with the customer Degree in information technology, electrial engineering or similar Planning and coordination experience for embedded SW coding andor validation activities preferred in avionics or space projects Several years experience in software production in C, C programming language and software validation according to Vmodel Sound experience in embedded software development and validation methodologies and technologies, preferred as a senior developer or software architect Development environment and tools for embedded software development Knowledge of typical software architecture and applications in satellite projects would be an advantage Experience with realtime operating systems preferred RTEMS Good communications skills in an international environment, written and verbal Structured, analytical working style English and German fluent negotiation level TO APPLY click here
