Do you have experience in security engineering and looking to implement and develop your skills in a large, international organisation? If yes then take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to join the team at Thorn SDS. Based on site at ESTEC, the Netherlands, the key candidate shall be providing support to the Head of the GNSS System Security unit within the GNSS Security Office. Alongside various other related tasks, the key candidate shall be coordinating all system security activities associated to the Galileo Second Generation G2G, establishing the system security baseline, definition of the security architecture for G2G as well as improving the system security robustness. Some service will also be required in respect to the Galileo first generation. Candidates shall have experience in System and Security Engineering and Satellite Navigation. Demonstrated experience related to GNSS systems and demonstrated experience working in System and Security Engineering. Candidates shall have the ability to work in in international teams and a high level of selfmotivation. The capability to travel within Europe and the ability to multitask efficiently, working on multiple activities, multiple subsystems and if applicable multiple missions simultaneously are desirable. All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the Netherlands and have a good working knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written. Excellent communication, reporting and presentation skills are required. Excellent relocation package will be provided if required.
