The Telstra free data guy is a hero to many and a villain to some plagued by slow internet connections after he capitalised on the teclo's free-data day to download almost a whole terabyte of goodies. John Szaszari guzzled an impressive 994GB the day Telstra offered customers unlimited data as a mea culpa for the massive service outage on March 18. He more than doubled his previous haul of 425GB during the first free data day in February after a similar outage.
