Tennessee Pork Producers Association Meeting and Trade Show January 22-23

Tennessee pork producers are encouraged to attend the Tennessee Pork Producers Association annual meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013. At 3:00 p.m. on Jan. 22, Lou Nave, Executive Director of the Farm Animal Care Coalition of Tennessee (FACCT) will update the group on current FACCT activities at the state level. Annual meeting attendees will then have a chance to vote on plans for the upcoming year and will review Pork Checkoff activities and programs.  The Taste of Elegance Chef's Compeition will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 22. Also as part of the activities, the Tennessee Junior Market Hog Show will be held Wednesday, Jan. 23 at the Tennessee Livestock Center on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University. The pork industry trade show will take place at the same time, with activities commencing at 8:00 a.m. (CST).  Contact the Tennessee Pork Producers Association office for more information at (615) 724-6533.
