Non-contact, non-destructive, self-calibrating OptiGauge MLS™ can measure each translucent coating in object up to 20 layers thick; thickness of individual layers and total overall thickness is calculated automatically. Selection of available optical probes can direct 1,310 nm IR light from LED through transparent, translucent, or colored materials, and automation eliminates opportunity for operator error.
