Offered in blind hole and through hole designs for thread lengths up to 3 x D,  Z-Taps are suited for stainless steels, high strength alloys, tool steels, and cast steels <=30 Rc. Units have advanced chamfer geometry and rake/flute form. GLT-1 multi-layered coating, offering heat resistance and outer anti-friction layer, produces controllable chip formation that is released smoothly for efficient chip removal.
