With 91% light transmittance, exceeding that of glass, Rilsan® Clear G-170 MED is suitable for use in breathing masks, tubing, and other transparent medical components. Product is sterilization resistant, has specific gravity of 1.05, and is 12% lighter than traditional transparent medical plastics, such as polycarbonates. In addition, Rilsan Clear polyamide has flexural modulus of 293,000 psi, providing flexibility for applications in which patient comfort is required.
