Whirlpool Corporation has thrown up a wall of silence after being asked about more than five million faulty dryers in British homes The firm at the centre of the tumble dryers scandal has again ducked the crucial question of when the issue was discovered - NINE days after the Mirror first demanded answers. We asked Whirlpool Corporation for the THIRD time when its brands Indesit, Creda or Hotpoint discovered that fluff could get into the heating element and catch fire.
