AIA lauded FAA's announcement of its "Integration of Civil Unmanned Aircraft Systems in the National Airspace System (NAS)" roadmap. Calling it "a major step forward for realizing the full promise of aviation’s next great frontier," FAA Administrator Michael P. Huerta said "significant progress" is being made toward meeting congressional UAS domestic integration mandate by 2015.
