The shift from cotton to man-made fiber apparel continued accelerating in the second quarter, as US importers further favored cheaper product prices in order to offset the impact of higher labor costs in China and elsewhere. Our series of statistical tables offers a comprehensive view of US apparel imports per category of products, with volume, value and unit value changes, compared with percentage change in previous quarters and previous years.
