Wastewater Sludge Spills Into Redfish Bay

The City of Aransas Pass is said to be monitoring the effects of a wastewater spill Wednesday in Redfish Bay. About 800,000 gallons of treated sludge was reportedly spilled out of the City's wastewater treatment plant and into the bay after a mechanical failure involving the main pump.
