The scenic rolling Sand Hills of western Nebraska is the setting for the Western Nebraska Hereford Tour on Sept. 22-23. The tour offers seven stops and showcases eight different breeders. The tour is headquartered in North Platte and Chadron, and participants can sign up to ride the bus, or drive individually to any or all the stops.   The schedule includes: Sunday, Sept. 22: 9 a.m. – Van Newkirk Herefords, Oshkosh. 12 noon – Monahan Cattle Co., Hyannis. read more
