Woodside Petroleum seals deal with WA over gas supply from Browse FLNG

Woodside Petroleum looks set for a decision within weeks to start engineering and design work on its first floating LNG export project after sealing a landmark deal with the Western Australian government that satisfies Premier Colin Barnett's condition that it also supplies gas into the local market. Under the agreement signed on Tuesday, the Browse venture will make available about 60 terajoules a day of gas for WA consumers.
