Woodside Petroleum would invest in Asian infrastructure to lift LNG sales

Woodside will supply LNG to Indonesian state-owned oil major Pertamina from various sources, including its Pluto plant in Western Australia. Woodside Petroleum would consider investing in gas power plants, storage plants and import-receiving terminals to help stimulate demand for its LNG in emerging markets in Asia, adopting a strategy followed by much larger integrated energy producers such as Shell and Total.
