Already in the space industry youve worked with the traditional ground systems, discovered the conservative mentalities, andfelt a big frustration! Fear not! Join our new startup section and build with us this new endtoend product from scratch, using only the most modern technologies cloudnative apps hosted on containers, leveraging AWS services and nonspace software, highend DevOps with Kubernetes... Finally, you will be free to do real innovation! ResponsabilitiesDuties Coach our space domain experts on DevOps concepts and technologies Communicate your innovative ideas and inspire for new approaches, keeping up to date with the newest trends and innovations Participate in the definition of the DevOps roadmap Design, setup, maintain, monitor and grow the cloudhosted CDCI tool chain Work closely with infrastructure and development team members to troubleshoot build and deployment issues Monitor the toolchain performance and address bottlenecks Participate in the definition of a spacespecific service catalogue for our clients Participate in the configuration of AWS services Continuously push for more automation in the DevOps chain and to take its scope further and further Write technical documentation in English language Attend technical meetings in English with clients and partners Think! QualificationsExperience Degree andor professional experience in DevOps, CDCI, and software validation deployment Experience building modern software outside of the space industry is a plus Essential Skills Proven expertise with the endtoend toolchain, i.e. automated testing frameworks, CICD tools, configuration management, collaboration tools, etc. Strong understanding of modern DevOps methodologies Knowledge of containerization techniques, microservices architecture, Kubernetes, Docker andor similar systems Experience in automating largescale deployments with modern software configuration management tools, ideally on AWS or similar cloud platforms Experience creating scripts in a DevOps context Past successes in taking ownership and growing or extending an existing tool chain Experience working in the context of highly Agile development processes Inventor mentality, creative personality Futureoriented mindsetburning for innovation Desirable Skills Experience interacting with third party service providers Experience with AWS automation tools Experience with TestDriven Development, ideally in a complex system following a microservices architecture Exposure to operational aspects of space missions Benefits Competitive salary plus a comprehensive benefits package including 30 days holiday, generous training possibilities, Telespazio VEGA Deutschland pension scheme is offered to the successful candidate.
